The events worth preparing for
Tastemaker’s Note → The world's most interesting people tend to be in the same places at the same time (and, never by accident). June's calendar is a masterclass in that, from Monaco to Basel to Ascot to Aspen, within the same few weeks. The question is never whether to go. It's whether you've given yourself enough time to go properly.

Sotheby’s | The Ultimate F1 Experience
The most prestigious, glamorous and anticipated event of all motorsport is Monaco’s Grand Prix. Often referred to as the “crown jewel,” it holds its elite status for a few specific reasons…
→ it’s one of the oldest and most historic automobile races globally, dating back to 1929
→ the track is incredibly special and weaves through Monte Carlo’s harbor, famous for its superyachts, celebs, royalty and high-end parties
→ winning in Monaco is considered the ultimate test of driver precision because the tight and twisty street circuit features almost no run-off areas
The cars are driven at the absolute limit within inches of concrete barriers making the race a massive spectacle that drivers dream of winning.
When asked where I’d watch from, naturally the choice for me was clear….
Although both private terrace and yacht are excellent options, watching such a spectacle aboard a yacht rings differently (especially for a bit of a newcomer to racing).
The private roofs and terraces offer panoramic views, the vibes are premium, calmer, more sophisticated and feature multiple corners making it an exceptional networking opportunity.
However, via the trackside superyacht there is an unmatched high energy, celebratory social scene. The energy and proximity to the harbor, the views of Nouvelle Chicane, the Tabac corner or the track wall, all while enjoying lunch onboard make this experience one for the books.
The yacht is also dear to me because it’s never random. There is a cohesiveness to it, from the individuals who we invite to the feast onboard. It’s made with every attendee in mind.
Luxury experiences are increasingly complex and the right level of precision can make them repeatable.
Leading brands, family offices, wealth executives, high-profile individuals are all in attendance for the same reasons: the proximity to greatness keeps getting better.
For brands, it’s a special way to reinforce your purpose and meaning in a short form application. Here are some of my favorites…
→ Louis Vuitton creates a bespoke trophy trunk for every Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit
→ Adidas unveiled a Miami specific summer collection inspired by local mangrove trees
→ Elemis luxury skincare partnered with Aston Martin’s Aramco F1 team offering exclusive pitstop treatments
→ Alo Yoga has an Alo Pit Stop at the Miami International Autodrome which offers recovery sessions, guided meditation and cryotherapy
→ David Yurman opened a new flagship in Miami’s design district to coincide with the race featuring exclusive styles with vibrant semi-precious stones inspired by Miami tropics
The point is, whether attending as yourself or your brand, there’s a wealth of opportunity to distribute the message as a thoughtful and memorable experience.
Out of the box creativity or nothing at all.
Luckily, we are able to create an exceptional experience for both the individual and the brand.
